Well, we made it 42 days and 400 miles, but the trail has been deemed impassable for us. The snow drifts on the rideglines were 4 feet deep walls with the rest of the trail about knee deep. It was difficult navigating since everything was frosted white. We've been dealing with winter storms since the first of December and there is more to come. We are grateful for our new found friend "Paul Bunion" who has welcomed us to his home in Atlanta, Georgia, after meeting on the trail. It's been great here but we plan to head back West soon. We are taking a detour to gain funds and gear for the next adventure. We'll keep you posted. Once again, we cannot express enough our gratitude for those who have helped us along the way.
